GUESTBOOK

Take a look at the comments from previous guests at Lilcot...

"We found the cottage to be very spacious and comfortable. It has been renovated sympathetically, keeping some old features, but adding a homely and modern feel to it. Lilcot is well equipped with everything needed for a self-catering stay. It is in a very small, peaceful hamlet, but access to main roads is fairly easy. We loved it!"

"Lilcot is a beautifully presented cottage in a quiet Hamlet. Tastefully decorated with a mixture of modern, traditional and original charm, we found the facilities perfect with all mod cons. It was warm when we needed it and cool when hot. It’s a great location for relaxing, getting about, sporting activities or just ambling and enjoying Cornish food and drink. We will be returning !"

“We loved Lilcot as it gave us the best of both worlds. A beautiful cottage finished to a very high spec and yet somewhere comfortable to relax in and make ourselves at home. You can enjoy all the mod cons and peruse the history of an old cottage being utterly transformed. It’s in a very peaceful hamlet yet not far from the local coastal beauty spots, and the best pasties to be found in Cornwall are nearby at St Kew highway. Can’t recommend Lilcot highly enough, our first and last thoughts were WOW!”

“We stayed in Lilcot for a short break during August 2015.

We were really impressed with the quality of the decor and furnishings; everything feels as if it has been very carefully chosen. The kitchen is well equipped, and eating meals in the dining area is a real pleasure, as it’s so light and airy. I found myself sitting there in between times, watching the antics of the birds outside. The cottage is in a very peaceful spot, really tucked away, but close to some of the nicest beaches in Cornwall. We went to Daymer Bay and found it to be amazingly quiet for an August day. Don't miss the delicious pasties from Aunt Avice’s at St. Kew Highway. We also stocked up on gorgeous toiletries from St Kitts Herbery on the journey down”.
